Welcome to Wise Choice Safe Rides (Pty) Ltd.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website,
booking platforms, passenger transport services, and shuttle networks.
By booking a ride or using our services, you ("the Client" or "the Passenger")
agree to be legally bound by these Terms.
Please read them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Definitions
- "Company": Wise Choice Safe Rides (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number:

authorized sub-contractors.
- "Passenger / Client": Any individual, corporate entity, or group
booking or utilizing the transport services provided by the Company.
- "Booking": A confirmed reservation for passenger transport services made
via our website, WhatsApp link, email, or telephone.
2. Bookings, Tariffs, and Payment
- Quotes: All quotes issued are valid for [e.g., 7 days] from the date of issue and are subject to vehicle availability at the time of final confirmation.
- Rates: Rates are calculated based on distance, duration, vehicle type, and the specific time of travel. Rates exclude toll fees, parking fees, or cross-border permits unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
- Payment Terms: Full payment or a mandatory deposit of [e.g., 50%] is required to secure and lock in a booking. No vehicle will be dispatched without cleared payment confirmation.
- Payment Methods: We accept secure payments via [e.g., Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), credit/debit cards via our secure gateway, or Yoco/PayFast links].
3. Cancellations, Amendments, and Refunds
We understand that travel plans change. However, because vehicles are reserved exclusively for you, the following cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellations made more than [e.g., 24 or 48] hours before schedule: Full refund minus a [e.g., 10%] administrative booking fee.
- Cancellations made between [e.g., 12 and 24] hours before schedule: A [e.g., 50%] cancellation fee will apply.
- Cancellations made less than [e.g., 12] hours before schedule or No-Shows: Strictly 100% cancellation fee; no refund will be issued.
- Flight Delays: For airport transfers, passengers must provide accurate flight numbers. We monitor flight statuses. However, if a flight is delayed by more than [e.g., 60 minutes], an additional waiting fee of [R XXX] per hour may apply.
4. Passenger Conduct and Safety Regulations
Your safety is our absolute priority. To guarantee a secure trip, all passengers must strictly adhere to the following rules:
- Seatbelts: accordance with South African National Road Traffic legislation, all passengers must wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion.
- Prohibited Behavior: Smoking, vaping, the consumption of alcohol (unless a specialized liquor permit is active for the vehicle), and the consumption of illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside all company vehicles.
- Driver Authority: The driver has full authority over the vehicle. The driver reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate a trip immediately if a passenger is abusive, intoxicated, aggressive, or acts in a manner that threatens road safety. In such cases, no refunds will be granted.
- Vehicle Damage & Soiling: The Client assumes full financial liability for any physical damage or deep cleaning required due to passenger negligence, vandalism, or illness. A minimum cleaning/damage fee of [e.g., R1,500] will be billed instantly.
5. Luggage and Personal Belongings
- Capacity Restrictions: Luggage limitations depend entirely on the vehicle class booked. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure the chosen vehicle can safely accommodate all passengers and suitcases.
- Valuables: Valuable personal items (including electronics, jewelry, cash, and critical travel documents) must remain in the passenger's immediate possession.
- Lost Property: Wise Choice Safe Rides (Pty) Ltd does not accept responsibility for items left behind in vehicles. We will make reasonable efforts to locate lost property, but recovery and delivery fees back to the owner will be at the Client's expense.
6. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
- Delays Beyond Our Control: While we guarantee every effort to ensure punctuality, the Company cannot be held liable for delays, missed flights, or missed appointments caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes severe traffic congestion, road accidents, inclement weather, municipal strikes, or unexpected mechanical breakdowns. In the event of a breakdown, we will dispatch a replacement vehicle as rapidly as possible.
- General Indemnity: To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Wise Choice Safe Rides (Pty) Ltd, its directors, and staff shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, injury, illness, or damage sustained by any passenger or luggage during the execution of our services, save for instances of proven gross negligence on the part of the Company.
7. Child Passengers
- In compliance with South African road safety laws, infants and toddlers require age-appropriate car seats.
- Clients must notify the Company during the booking process if they require us to provide a child booster/car seat (subject to availability and an extra charge), or if they will be providing their own.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
